Yes! The new issue begins!

This is definitely the only X-Men series I acknowledge anymore. Thanks again for doing this series, JB!

Oh, you must be referring to the message I received telephonically yesterday from Publishers Clearing House informing me I have won $1.3 million, a brand new Lincoln (in any color I choose) and $10,000 a week for life. All I have to do is call them back…
  *********
Who couldn't use an extra $1.3M?
Ooh, get the Lincoln in black!

Be it ever so humble. Two years in, now on to new surroundings and new adventures. It's a brand new day for the X-Men... even if the realtor is showing them some "fixer uppers." ;)

No matter how many times I see it, I'm always impressed by JB's seemingly effortless ability to capture gesture and character with minimal rendering. Every one of those little figures on today's page is fully alive.

I confess genius—and blame Jim Salicrup, who noted that my figures even stood around in character. Which meant I always had to do that from then on!!

I love how the silhouettes of the machinery in the foreground frame the page and give such a strong sense of 3d space.

JB: "...for those who consider such things, I still haven't built a 3D model of the x-flyer, so as seen here and elsewhere it's being drawn the old fashioned way!..."

I have to admit, I was assuming it was a model, since that seemed to be the general practice when you draw vehicles these days. Nice job, JB!

That whole splash has a lot in it to admire. I keep pointing it out, but I love all the detail!

I love the jet. It reminds me of the Champions Champscraft (and who knows? Perhaps Warren used the same contractor.)

This facility looks familiar, but I'm not sure I can place it. Sentinels must have been here (obviously.) It's not Four Freedoms plaza, nor the Avengers garbage dump- er, floating island. I'm fascinated to find out where it is.

And maintenance staff - again, I'm interested in seeing who and what they are.

The reference to Sentinels should be all you need. After all, we’ve already seen this place in ELSEWHEN.

Let's hope Warren didn't use the same contractor. For, as I recall, that guy did shoddy workmanship.
