 | It's a joy to see these characters drawn by you, but for me another big draw for
this project is hearing these characters through your dialogue. It was one of
my favorite aspects of X-MEN HIDDEN YEARS, and it has even more Impact for
me on this series because I know these characters more than the original
team. This is the team that introduced me to the X-Men, and they are in fine
 voice!

Q for JB: Are Pablo's powers similar to what had thought of for your original Caliban?

 | •• Only very loosely. Caliban I intended to have a much more precise degree of control--which, I suppose, is what Pablo could develop over time.

The level of detail on that panel with the Avengers makes it virtually 3D to me.  It just pops.
Thanks JB, that's a great hanger for the weekend!
I am just loving every single page of this. |

There are only TWO artists who should have ever drawn Captain America:

Thanks for the compliment, but I would lengthen that list by several names!

Those Baron blood issues are among my favorites...  Cap without his shield getting the thug to hand over his gun... Using his shield on the Baron... good stuff...

I can't recall so many teasing cutaways just as the action makes us desperate to see the next panel... excellent storytelling and playing with our anticipations, Chief.
