Cyclops is a lot braver than I because hidden under a rock is where you'd likely find me at this point.

 | •• Foolish mortal! Do you think a mere ROCK can hide you from the POWER of PHOENIX??

 | The list of people that could be calling "Cyclops" off camera is short. I wonder how the remaining force will handle a very pissed off Phoenix? Or is it Dark Phoenix?

The pain Wolverine is going through really comes across in the last few

There's something very visceral about Colossus' boot on Wolverines skull. Very nice touch.

Such a great way to start a Monday. I am quite thankful Mr. Byrne is an early riser.

 Thanks.

That last panel is a great shot. Something about the X-men being in a nature setting that makes me feel all warm and cozy. I guess that's why I enjoy them in the Savage Land

My mistake---guess I'm still hung up on his adamantium skull cooking his brains.

That may look like Colossus's boot, but it's really JB's foot on Wolverine's back! };->

As I said before, I love that Wolverine's not recovering instantly from Phoenix's attack.  Too often a healing factor is made into virtual invulnerability instead of just being able to recover eventually.  Love having it be that Prof X has a safe room that blocks mental abilities from seeing you as logically he'd think of that.  Plus you need a way to keep some of them safe from Phoenix for a bit or the battle is over.  Expecting Jean's spirit/mind to fight Phoenix on page soon, perhaps when she finds Scott.  Also wondering if other heroes will show up having sensors warn them of a planet wide threat hitting.  With no editor/other creators to keep characters out they could be mixed in.  Even if just for Phoenix to toss Iron Man across the nation with a flick of the wrist.  Or for Mr. Fantastic to use some device to find Prof X and then accidentally reveal their location to Phoenix.

Meh, fun to play in my mind with this.  I'm sure it'll be fun however it goes.  I know I'm really enjoying it. |

Wonder if this “brain cooking” will have a permanent effect... Remember when Dwight got a concussion on THE OFFICE? He became a good-natured, sweet version of himself. Maybe that’s where Logan’s story is headed! 😏

These drawings of Wolverine have been really awesome btw!
I never really thought about Lilandra being covered in down... i suppose it’s like Kurt being “furry”. It’s there... but these textures aren’t easily conveyed in a 2D drawing.

Can't see him calming down with a steel foot clamping him to the floor!
