These pages are just stunning - thank you for sharing these, JB. Seeing Doom and the FF alongside the X-Men is pure joy. Your work with these characters has defined how I see them, so it's great to see them in this chapter.

Oh geez, not what I meant either.
I do not want to set off a "bad Byrne story"!

May your ennui abate and your muse return with alacrity.
•••
Please, please, PLEASE donft do this.
 ............................................................ .....
Just requesting a little clarity: Is the current pause a result of ennui in general or for this particular Elsewhen project? Is your creative impulse being drawn to other projects, comics-based or otherwise? Either is certainly understandable.

Bodies in tube is always a visual win for me.  Dunno why --- it just works.
Cyclops looks great.  I like where you took his visor, physique and boots.  His best look since Adams, in my opinion.
All the X-men are in a that visual sweet-spot, to be honest.

Is Magneto's helmet difficult to draw correctly? It seems like there is a real thin line between looking like his head fits and an actual bucket. Plus making the eyes line up with the curves. However it works, it looks great! And a bit terrifying.

I'm removing this question just in case it's something we will be shown in the story. Edited by Wallace Sellars on 15 August 2022 at 4:37pm
