          I love how you've been drawing Storm.

 | •• JB: Thanks. Once again I've been kicking around ideas for a fairly major redesign for her. Something a bit more "modern". *** Sounds like there’s potentially more issues being added to the drawer? Great to hear!

          ...and I assume a “modern” Storm redesign doesn’t mean giving her a mohawk... 😏

          "And, can I say how refreshing it is to see Logan with claws shaped the right way!"

 | --- Not sure if there is a right way myself, but definitely seen a few interpretations that are way off. I like the concept of blades rather than claws, but I agree with JB. The whole big triangle thing that Miller started doesn't really work. I mean, these things still have to fit inside his forearm right? Personally speaking, Art Adams draws my favorite interpretation. |

          Art does his own version of Frank’s blades. (Wolverines have blades?) Do Logan’s characteristic attack moves really suggest the cutting edge is along the top?

 | As originally presented, the claws have a D cross section, with the flat side underneath. They curve slightly and taper almost to infinity. As such, they do not have an edge per se.

          Wolverine's don't have flat blade shaped claws.  They have animal shaped claws.  Marvel kinda defeated their own logic over the years:  bone claws that would be naturally occurring would be animal shaped ( hence the curved, almost D shape cross section), not flat or prism shaped.  The natural ones would have to fit in the forearm, again the need to be rounded.  JB's origin would have been the place to put in flat claws since they were implanted, but those Dept H scientists had a better sense of style and aesthetics

          Wolverines claws retract into their forearms?

          The bone claws idea was terrible. Just terrible.

 Nice turn of events here with Magneto getting blindsided by Wolverine. Just as I was starting to muse that Magento is simply too powerful, you go and show how vulnerable he can still be. |

          What was worse about the ‘bone claws’ is that they were depicted as jagged, rough surfaced like a gnarly branch.

 | afraid of where this story is going. I can't remember anyone ever doing
 anything like this series.

 Question: Have industry-friends been congratulating you on your awesome
 return to the "New" X-Men?

 |  Why reform Magneto?
 It was the perfect nemesis for The X-Men. Powerful mastermind with his group of evil mutants...
 Of course it seems that nowadays The X-Men only foes are the same ordinary humans they once protected...

          How well I remember! An interview with Chris. Asked about plans for Magneto. Chris laughs and says “He’s going to become a teacher at the school!”
