          I'm thinking Franklin Richards.

I can't see Shaw coming out of this unscathed. He has made enemies of the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Avengers all at the same time. When they finally come knocking I don't think there will be much left of the door.

Yikes! Don't be so quick to judge Wolverine, Simon.

 | •• In a real world timeframe, we are beginning to overlap my tenure on the FF, and I am allowing myself some small indulgences to reflect this. My handling of Sue in this story is one of those--a mixture of how she was handled before I arrived, and after.

True. Making the most powerful member of the Fantastic Four angry can't be a wise decision for Mr. Shaw.

JB, I think I shared with you once before that when I first "met" the FF I thought Ben was the most "powerful," then Johnny, Reed and Sue in that order. Now I believe the reverse is true.

 | Thoughts: I'm a bit surprised that Wonder Man knew Wolverine's name, given that this is (presumably) the first time he's seen him (plus this isn't too long after WM was re-animated after several years).

I see that Shaw's Sentinels are programmed with pettiness!
I wonder how the panel of blistered-Wolverine would be colored.
As always, that's a beautiful Storm. Any idea if George Perez' design for Starfire's face was explicitly influenced by JB's Storm?

I love the panel of Storm using rain to cool Wolverine's
wounds - a perfect moment in tne heat of battle.

I love the look of Logan's burnt mask revealing the man inside. "Gonna sting..."

There is some abused part of my brain that keeps piping up with
 Claremontisms.

Narrator: "Simon has only heard screams like these twice before..."

 Me: "Shut up, brain!"
