          I laughed out loud when you started in about Nightcrawls' powers. Heck! I'm still smiling.

 Can you say: "Whee! No Editor!"

 Havok and Polaris are long-time favorite's too. I enjoyed them getting some more exposure in Lost Years as well.

 This issue is packed with so much --- and part of me wishes I could ride this Phoenix roller-coaster forever. SO good.

 Thank you JB! Have a great weekend.

          I LOL'd at that comment by Cap about Nightcrawler's powers too. Nice summation of what "mutant" ought to mean.

 | And now I'm worried that Alex just blew apart a hospital full of mutant patients... poor Alex. I'm so eager to see what lies ahead. You have no idea what this is doing for my morale in this troubled times. |

 The BEST visual power signature and one of the best costumes in comics!
 Mr. Byrne -, Whats your take on Havok’s black/void costume?  Do you like It and do you like to draw it?   Does it present challenges to your page or panel compositions in any way?

 | ••• Very few people other than Neal Adams are able to pull off Havok’s costume. Luckily, I’m one of them. Or delusional. Anyway, it is one of THE great costumes. And I love drawing it.

          Yup.  You are.  No delusion at all.

          I second that (including the implied Scottish burr).

 Very happy to read this confirmation - though it has felt apparent in your work. Marvel Team Up #69 being a particular favourite. A great shame that Alex's costume has been messed around with so much, so unnecessarily, to great detriment, over the years. It's good to know we are experiencing 'the classic' in these pages.

          Love the spread of debris above and left of Bkow. Just hope it doesn't represent real Havoc inside... he's one of those guys (along with brother Scott) whose raw power unleashed always worries me for some reason.

          Mr. Byrne, in response to my curiosity about guest appearances: "It may this time, if you’re hoping for another guest star bonanza!"

 Then I see today's pages. NO DISAPPOINTMENT REGISTERED, MR. BYRNE! But how could you taunt me like that? After all we've meant to each other...? I'm weepy...
 ===============================================
 Mr. Byrne: "Imagine if I’d never worked at Marvel!"
 Then "Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch" might be the most epic series to not star a character with an S on his chest.

          That shot of Lorna's face where she's waking up says *so much.* She's tired, confused, and uniquely her even without the green hair colored in.
