Just realized, with Vol. 1 doing 45,000+ in sales and preorders, we’ve already hit close to two thirds of the advance Abrams paid me for all three volumes.

Yikes!!!!

I'm not surprised, with more recent comic readers conditioned from the past 20 years of "writing for the trade". I guess some of those folks were expecting everything in the first volume to be all nice and buttoned up by the end.
