Just received my Elsewhen hc from Barnes & Noble. Excited to read it.
Interesting note is that, according to the numbers inside, it appears to be a
third printing.
Psyched to read this one, tweaked, inked and colored.

Something most encouraging about these multiple print runs is that they indicate there is an ongoing demand for the book. Word of mouth hasn’t damaged interest. Most gratifying!

THIRD!! I wasn't even aware that the second printing was already released!
Thanks for the Barnes and Noble tip, I just sent the link (still showing as shipping immediately) to my childhood buddy that missed out on the first print.
Amazon is still saying that it's out of stock, though.
EDIT: Said buddy just got back to me, and his is arriving on Tuesday from Amazon. I didn't realize that he had placed the order already. He placed his order on the official release day!

Found a comment stating my style has changed since the 80s (thank Dog!) and this leaves some of the characters “unrecognizable”.Doesn’t say which, of course!

Kitty was 14 during the Claremont/Davis run. She turned 15 (there is a birthday cake with 15 candles) in issue #24. That is Alan Davis' last issue he did with Claremont.
Also, I was off a little on her 14th birthday. It happened in Special Edition X-Men #1. This is a reprint of Giant Size X-Men #1 with a backup story. The back up ends with her surprise birthday party. It takes place between X-Men issues 165 & 166.

Oh WOW Elsewhen - the gift that keeps on giving! Thanks for the exciting tease, JB. As much as I love the hardcover, I would also love the pencils to be collected in some form, too. Day one purchase. Cheers
