Uh oh (again)... Why do I think it's the sentinels, not our heroes, who have just received reinforcements?

Yes, I suspect 'it' is referring to one of our mutant heroes.

Either way, I seriously doubt those policemen will be of any help to our heroes

BTW, I’m going to be depending on all of you to pay close attention to my time cues as the various plot lines begin (finally) to converge!

Mr. Byrne: Any idea why the Sentinels went by the name Jean Grey and not one of her "mutant" codenames (Marvel Girl, Phoenix, Black Queen)?

 | Of course, the Sentinels already know her real name and surely where she lives because of the Cerebro tap ordered by the Hellfire Club. We already know that Sebastian Shaw is behind the Sentinels as seen in last page of Elsewhen #4, so they have available that type of info. Perhaps this is also why they know about the existence of other mutants as Ashley Martin (surely she was in Cerebro's data banks). |

I have a theory on these Sentinels and the kidnapped mutants. It's a long shot. If I am right I will post it after the plot line wraps. So far none of my theories have really panned out.

By your estimates, how tall is a Sentinel?
The Sentinels that have been ripping roofs of houses seem pretty tall, but the one that the Avengers (and Reed Richards) are examining looks shorter.
 Thanks  |

 >> I hear that Mark, so far all my theories have missed too.  I still have a theory about Jean and her powers, but its looking like I'm wrong on that too... (we'll see)
Mr. Byrne is anything but predictable LOL

 | ••• Over the years, Sentinels have come in different sizes, tho normally consistent within each story arc. I decided to break that “rule” and have Sentinels of different sizes (and shapes) within my tale.

 | The details, the drama of this battle... it's amazing!
Thank you for this daily gift!
This Wideawake operation looks more and more like what happened in Kate Pryde's X-Men past in "Nightmares...".
