 | Great page... again! The Fantastic Four are really stealing the show!

I wonder... Is it the first time we see Gyrich without his glasses?

The only one I can think of that would be bigger
during the era was at the wedding of Reed and Susan
 Richards.

To be accurate, neither Reed and Sue getting married, nor the events of my story here, are “crossovers”. Those happen when a story begun in one title is carried over (crosses over) into one or more others.

 | Those FF nuptials and this grand battle are guest appearances. (Crossovers will feature guest appearances, but guest appearances are not necessarily crossovers.)

Pardon my phrasing, Mr. Byrne. Of course these are guest appearances.

Matt H. - you got me there. I figured prior to this, it was FFs #25 and 26. But certainly, that wedding was LOADED. Thanks for refreshing me!
TANGENT: I wonder if Stan and Jack ever got the MU into the mother of all messes. Or was that when they left...? |

As jarring as "The Invisible WOMAN" was at first, to see "Invisible Girl" is almost more so.

I'm loving everything about this series.  I may have to subscribe; where can I send my 1980 $5.00?

Every page is such a joy to read. Having Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, and
the Avengers appear covers the major Marvel characters I most associate with
 JB from that era.

"Reunion" is a wonderful title to this chapter as those mutants who were
abducted are found, but it also feels like a reunion of those characters that JB
 handled so well.

This is absolutely the real Marvel universe. There are plenty of great What Ifs out there being published on paper, but this is the real deal.

Although it would make me happy, I’m sure we won’t see the Champions showing up. Or Iron Fist.
