Kitty’s Xmas adventure happened offstage, but a sequel is in the works.

It took me a little while to get used to the less clunky version of Scott's headgear, but now that I see what he was wearing in the printed comics again, THAT looks odd to me. So, I'm converted. Job well done!

I just re-read Hidden Years!  That series was brilliant!  Cut down in its prime!  At the pace you were going it could've been 100 issues before you hit X-men 94.  And even that tiny "crossover" to Lost Generation was spectacular.

On another note, No one draws an "angry Scott" better than you! For a character with "no" eyes showing to develop expression, you always manage to show all of Scott's emotions through just that little patch of mouth. Amazing

 >>I agree. The effect to the left side of his visor helps sell his mood too. Movie Scott (besides being mostly poorly written) also did have some trouble emoting without the all important eyes most actors depend on to convey their emotion.

JB also does a great job of giving Iron Man "expressions" without the mask looking 'off'.

 | Great to see today's page - I re-read that full "untold" story in its entirety
before the series started to set the stage. It's a good recap to remind us that
 all roads leads to Phoenix.

oh! It just dawned on me that in the recap (or any other flashbacks), you probably cannot reprint any of the original dialog.

The more I dwell on what is going on in those panels, the more horrible it is.

In its way, it's loosely analogous to sterilizing a homosexual CIRCA early 20th century.

Honestly, I can't help but feel for Jean, poor woman. Death or lobotomization are terrible choices. And as amazing as Scott's restraint is, it's equally amazing Logan didn't kill some Shi'ar over it...
