Wow! What a beautiful page! I continue to be impressed by the way you draw water, JB. Oh, and the way you are able to present these characters both in and out of costume.

Hopefully we’ll be getting to the bottom of Peter’s leg situation soon.

I wonder what Charles suspects or expects to find? I don’t think Namor or the others know what they are looking for in the bay.

It's fun to see the X-men are in plainclothes and using their abilities. Has that "family" feel to it (or at least used to) --- like the FF.

It's a great reminder that these are actual people who don't live in their superhero work clothes 24/7. There's more to them than code-names and superpowers-- and heck, if you can't dress casual when tooling around Jamaica Bay on a boat, when can you?
As for what the professor expects to find, maybe he got a hint from something he saw when mind-reading the Phoenix? Whatever it was, I think we'll have the answer pretty quickly, in any case. |

The tornado opening a hole to the bottom of the sea looks awesome... The water spout looks even better!

I suppose it is a compliment to my unsurpassed skills as a writer, but I am surprised any of you would think there was anything other than a straight line between last issue and this. The title is even “Jean”. If I was any more obvious I’d lose my artistic license!

I'm just holding my breath in anticipation of seeing Jean (non-xeroxed version) at this point.  Sounds like there be a bit of story to tell which may, or may not, align with her original resurrection (in FF) so it has the potential to be interesting to say the least.  And I would not be surprised to see Namor hit on her regardless of whether he remembers her, or whether or not Scott is there (he's Namor after all)...

I wonder if Jean could've had any kind of link or awareness of what her copy was experiencing if she's been down there the whole time.

Ororo's reaction to going into that water is perfect, it's probably the first thing I would have thought of in the situation. Now we get to worry about Colossus as well as Namor... :^(

and I get to see the H of Hydra as the H for Hefty garbage bags from now on. :^)
