Hmmm, I wonder if that psychic rapport would still exist between Scott and Phoenix and could it be used for good or evil? Back to this issue, I’ve been envisioning what resistance this four D’Bari assault team Might have to deal with in the near future and wonder if they are prepared or going off half cocked. Time will tell.

Ashley may be developing a mutant power of very bad timing!

Enjoying the turn of events in this issue. Had forgotten the D'Bari, even though they were on literally the last page of the previous issue. Quite a satisfying resolution to the mini-cliffhanger, in that I did not at all guess it was them, but it made total sense given what you had shown us just a few days ago.

Without Phoenix's infinite resources, I find it incredible to believe Jean could effortlessly hold that psychic rapport. That's just a gut feeling.

Where Phoenix could put it in place and "forget" about it, I imagine for Jean it would be more like a part-time job at the psychic-rapport factory.

I think it took a great deal of power for Jean to imprint her persona onto the Phoenix entity. If she can do that, the psychic rapport with Scott is probably doable, too.

I have to say though... Post Phoenix, I'd prefer her as strictly telekinetic.

I didn’t really want to spell it out, but I imagined Jean, seeing herself as effectively about to DIE, she threw EVERYTHING into that bolt.

You definitely delivered that in the panel, JB.

I thought that given that, her love for Scott, also very powerful, would make the psychic rapport possible.

I admit to not really knowing much about how Jean's telepathic powers work though.

As a long time Wolverine fan, I've loved that he fears nothing, takes a beating, gets up and does it again. But now I'm starting to worry for his well being. If JB were reincarnated as a cat, I feel SO sorry for the mice he would bat around.

I was hoping to see Wolverine detect and dispatch an alien or two today; but am still intrigued by where JB is taking us.

Well, Jahf, Logan did remember a certain redhead's name last issue, so his memories are not *completely* gone... Though it does seem clone Jean and him have "switched places" (as to mental state) at this point.
