What a great page to kick off the new year with! No one does The Watcher as well as JB in my opinion!

Are the Watcher's monitors all based off of old WHAT IF stories? I swear I remember an issue with Spider-Man joining the FF. |

JB - I know your Watcher is based on Kirby's. But since your interpretation of him from X-MEN 137, it's become the definitive version.
Loving the homages to WHAT IF???
A great way to start 2021.

When I returned to reading Marvel in the early Seventies, one thing that made me sad was to see the old fat guy Uatu* had turned into. His original look had been so distinctive, even a little creepy!

I like to joke that I own the page of original art with the Watcher's first appearance. It's only his FEET, but. . . .

The monitors are awesome. It's that plumbing of a rich history that makes these characters so much fun.

I bought issues 1,3 and 9 off the stands as a kid.  It is awesome to see them represented here.

Cool!  Classic What If? celebration! I remember really enjoying the one where the FF got other powers.

Speaking of FF and What If, was What If #11 (Marvel Bullpen becomes FF, October 1978) Kirby's last drawing of the Fantastic Four?  He drew the cover of FF #200 (November 1978), but that was only Mr. Fantastic and Doctor Doom.
