About Nightcrawler's invisibility: Was that Chris Claremont's idea, or something Dave Cockrum came up with?

 | Well, character powers (and even backstory) do change on occasion.  I'm not sure anymore, but after the "he's always (now) had bone claws" were the bionic housings for the claws definitely done away with for Wolverine?

Love it!!! I have always been amazed by your mastery of the low angle shot AND you drawing Spidey swinging around NYC is always a home run!

love the facial expression on Kurt and the shading on the trash can (which I know sounds kinda random).

Maybe Nightcrawler's power gets phased out (so to speak) so that by now, he's only a little blurry in deep shadow... ;)

I hope you have a lot more.  Really enjoying you revisiting these characters.

Dave Cockrum recycled Nightcrawler's shadow abilities into a character he created for the (sadly) short-lived Futurians - an ex-spy called Jonathan Darknyte who is able to merge with, animate, or teleport through shadows and darkness.

There are great details even in the bottom inch or so of the page -- the variety of trash, the different shoes/boots and stances, the bus tire, etc.
And back to Spidey -- JB, does the 378 below his foot have any significance?  The number seems familiar, but perhaps I'm thinking of Marvel's old address at 387 Park Ave. South.

Glad Kurt finally found some shorts! Now, if only Logan can as well...
