Dang.  Wanting to go back and re-read old X-Men issues now for hints as we all know JB loves the original source material.  Wondering now if Alex shows up how that could mess up evil Scott, assuming Magneto didn't find Alex on that world, or how he'd react to his father being alive - we didn't seen him in the Phoenix storyline (can't recall a mention of the Starjammers being killed).  Argh too much speculation.  Just enjoy the ride...just enjoy the ride.

Trust JB to give us all the info about the other Earth that's relevant to the story. If other-Spider-Man is needed, he'll show up. If not, he's either doing his own thing or he was killed (though I'd imagine he's beneath Magneto's notice). If other-Hulk is needed.. et cetera.

So don't worry about other-Alex or other-Lorna or other-Wolverine. If they show up, it's because that's all part of the plan.  |

I can think of various behind that door scenarios, with maybe none of them right, but one is definitely a front-runner. I am sure it won't be some cases of schnapps and freshly baked strudel he's been hoarding. :^)

For some strange reason, when Magneto said he found the thing-to-be-revealed in Germany, my brain substituted Latveria and I immediately started cataloging all of the Dr Doom tech I could remember, trying to suss out what it could be.

Then I reread the panel and thought, "Well, that was wasted brain power..." |

Think of it as running on a treadmill instead of on a track. At least your brain got some exercise even if it didn’t go anywhere.

I don't think things are looking good for whoever's behind that door.

JB has provided plenty of clues as to who it might be, but I'll wait for the reveal rather than idly speculate.

The cat is out of the bag. Or demon in this case?

Okay, that was legitimately surprising and a perfect fit now that I've seen it. Makes you wonder who else might pop up! That device Magneto has Kurt in is pretty rad.

(and Kurt only speaking German is another reminder of just how much legwork Xavier's telepathy has done over the years.) |

 | •• Over the years, those for whom English is not a native tongue have often been portrayed as speaking with accents typical of their homelands. Which got me thinking. Since Xavier taught them English telepathically, would they not have picked up whatever accent he has? (Boston?)

Interesting that Nightcrawler was still bound after his teleportation.

Hmm! I don't think I'd ever quite literalized a telepathic "voice" before.  |

I'm getting a JRjr vibe from Kurt and that device.
Also, is it me or is watching Pietro always near or having his arm around Wanda getting very weird?
I know he's protective of his sister, but it's creepy. |
