 | The Astra/Kitty subplot is fascinating, but if the other personal projects is a six-issue "John Byrne's ASTRAY" miniseries, readership might drop off just a bit ...  ; ) |

Since I have no idea what the “readership” is, I don’t know how I’d even measure that!!

I'd hate a 6 month break, but if it happened I'd be happy we got the 20 issues we've had so far.  20 more than I ever expected.

I'm imagining how Wanda would react to her 'non-evil' self being married to a machine.  Imagine how any of us would react to the idea that we'd marry a robot (yeah, I know Vision isn't technically a robot).  Sadly we all know JB can't cover every last angle or we'd never get the story moving forward.
Astray would be interesting to see - good for a horror movie.  Hopefully that keeps moving in future chapters as I'm curious how it will be resolved.  I doubt Mr. Byrne will kill off Kitty but the rule with Elsewhen is there are no rules but those he puts on himself. |

 | In fact, our own Paul Gibney pointed out to me yesterday that I misread the calendar, and will be starting 21 tomorrow, the 5th, not the 6th.

Thank you again Mr. Byrne for resurrecting these wonderful characters and telling us amazing stories.

 Happy Easter all.

Seeing JB's photograph of model cars as reference, and particularly the UPS truck, takes me back to his run on the Fantastic Four when the FF joined Nick Fury on a trip back in time to 1930s Manhattan.  Fury had a selection of holograms to choose from to make their vehicle inconspicuous, and Fury picked a UPS truck because the design of that vehicle would not be out of place in the 1930s.  I always thought that was a brilliant solution for them to blend in with the locals.  I guess Nick Fury has the same selection of holograms available, as JB has in his reference library at any given time, whenever Fury is handled by JB.

Interesting to read over this thread and see myself contemplating switching to the BLOOD AND TRENCHES fully rendered (and therefore uninkable) pencils.

 | That would have killed the Abrams project before it even got started!
