I suppose it would help to wish for Superman’s power set if wishing for flight.  Personally, there’s something to be said for the shear thrill of flight itself rather than the means to get somewhere (otherwise just go for teleportation).

And once again, someone just wants Jean for her body.  Poor dear  ;-) |

I like the idea of being able to view/perceive remotely-- it's a pretty cool thing to contemplate.

Sky diving and helicopters were the closest I got to what I

 | figured flying would feel like, so forget Paris. I would
still choose flight; however, if I really wanted to do
something with my power, then invulnerability would be my
go to, even more than super strength, if I could only have
 one, that is.

Regardless, as soon as we catch up, I can't wait to see
 what she does next!

Flight with practical constraints like a 10-15 mph speed limit, a height ceiling of 20,000 feet and demanding attention and a basic sense of self-preservation would still be awesome, and more than enough for recreation and petty crimes.

I'd probably choose a healing factor, though.

Super strength. I always said it’d be great fun, just one time, to throw a truck over a skyscraper and catch it on the other side.

I would like to have a isolated mind reading ability, you know with an on and off switch. It wouldn't be turn on often.

I think on all the time would be soul crushing. There is a reason we have our unfiltered INSIDE voice!  |

 | •• A friend once commented that he'd like that, some kind of "compulsion" power to use on others. I pointed out that such power basically came in three setting. At the lowest, weakest, we'd be able to ride around in someone else's head, but strictly as a passenger. Next up, we'd be able to exert influence. And, finally, we'd be able to assume complete control, to abandon our own bodies and "move in". A handy deathbed maneuver, that last one.

Oh what you've done to Elaine Grey! Phoenix' hosts don't seem to end up very good... I hate to wonder what's going to happen to her,

That Phoenix is a true dick, isn't she? A REAL villain! Heaven forbid if she ever encounters Doom... let the world beware! |

My first posting on this board.  All I can say right now is: This storyline is out of control and I am LOVING it!  Dark Phoenix IS sickness at it’s finest! Gimme me some more, gimme some more!
