Is that 'grinning cancels out gag reflex' a real thing?

Yup. I learned about it from Mike Rowe’s DIRTY JOBS. In one episode he visited a forensic body farm and, surrounded by ripe cadavers in various states of decomposition, he was instructed to smile any time he felt his gorge rising. Not long after I was cleaning out the container that held my garbage cans, which itself had become a symphony of rot. Several times I tried the smile trick, and it worked—tho I’m glad none of the neighbors could see me!

This is so much fun! I love how Wolverine looks like he is fighting with the couch.
The art is masterful and the story so new and fresh.
  Wonderful!

Careful X-Men, or you'll be banished to a cornfield!
It's scary to think that the 10 year-old version of Jean is in charge of all that power and those around her have to let things play out to avoid upsetting her.
I love the way this has built up.  Look forward to seeing how it plays out within the rest of this issue.

This Phoenix may be scarier than the malevolent one we saw last time.

This reminds me of when Magneto captured the X-Men and had a nanny robot care for them like children.

I was thinking of the same scene, but for some reason remembered Arcade being the one behind that. (My poor memory ain't what it used to be.)

Oh, no... Wait a minute... Is that the same story where Storm uses lock picks from her headdress to try escaping, but fails?

I see it! But wouldn’t have thought about it if you hadn’t pointed it out.
