What a journey this project has been! ••• One might say… a long road, getting from there to here.

Maybe I should print the page and paste the balloons over the glass once it's framed!••• Or inside the glass?

Hmm, maybe. Might be tricker to coordinate if I'm having someone else frame it, especially since I know I'd be a stickler and want the placement to match the printed page as much as possible. We'll see!

I have watched this whole thing happen here, sometimes day-by-day, and I still have a hard time believing I will have a "new" John Byrne X-Men comic in my hand. Thanks to you, John, and all involved!

Outstanding!

Congrats to John and Paul. Huge thanks to Chris also, one of these days I'd like to hear the story of how this came to fruition (I'm a sucker for behind the scenes stuff, even the boring mundane bits).

I guess it will no longer be considered Fan Fic, right?

I have to say, looking at the link that Vinny Valenti kindly posted, the books are much more affordable than I had feared. 200 pages, extras, hardback ... count me in, big time!

Congratulations JB!

Something I love most about this whole thing is it was borne out of a need to simply scratch an itch that wouldn’t go away.  A version of “what if…”?.

I have my own version happening to me right now that started with a post from my couch one night and that same question.

That this is happening makes me excited for my own possibilities!

Annoyingly, I am seeing posts about this that insist on describing ELSEWHEN as a project started for Marvel that “fell through”.sigh
