Now, that's a comission that's worth money.

Truly special, and a great gesture on Mr. Byrne's part.
Michael Golden should be ashamed of himself, but judging from his post I read he doubtlessly is not.

Wow! I'm not a Dr. Strange fan by any stretch of the imagination but this commission is simply gorgeous. Now that's how a true pro conducts his business. Congrats Gerry and kudos to JB. Beautiful!!

If Marvel would please have the foresight of getting JB to do a Dr. Strange 6-issue story done his way! Editors stay of his way. Please let JB do a JB story. I would treasure that eventual TPB with care. Love Ditko Dr.Strange, and I believe you can do a definitive tribute to both the character and the artist. Love the glimpse of the good Doc in one of your issues of Namor.

Strange how time flies. I really would've loved to have seen a run by JB on this character, especially if he had been handled much the same way JB used him in Namor.

I personally feel that way about JB and just about every Marvel character.
A run on Dr Strange would have been awesome. This commission gives me the feels of that old time Marvel magic which is, sadly, a rare thing these days.

For many years I didn’t feel I was really right for Doctor Strange. Two planets crashing into each other? I’m your guy. All that mystical stuff? Maybe not so much. But after his brief appearance in NAMOR, I got to wondering…

I think some of the worlds you explored in Blood of the Demon show that you would’ve done a stand out job on Doctor Strange! Though it was a horror genre, I could see the translation to Ditko mysticism as well.
