That's a long time to go without a proper holiday. I hope you enjoy your time off.

I'll give you two weeks in to your vacation before you start writing your next comic!

Will you still maintain an online presence, or are you taking two months off of being John Byrne?

So Reagan was president the last time... yeah, I'd say you're due!

Glad to hear you are taking some time off, JB!  I never realize how much I need a vacation until I go on the actual vacation.

I really like the idea of going with a mini-series approach with IDW.  I really liked how your STAR TREK work had a mini-series approach.  And then when all the Romulan threads came together into the "Pawns of War" trade was excellent.

Joe S:  "Congratulations, JB. go to Italy. The women are amazing."

****

No, come to Los Angeles, JB!  The women in Los Angeles are the best in the world.  One downside - it's very likely some of them are porn stars.

I hope this restructuring of your "arrangement" with IDW will finally translate into Citizen Zero or some of the projects you've talked about over the years such as the comic book adaptation of Edmond Hamilton's City at World's End or the life and times of Queen Elizabeth I as a space-opera.

True.
Plus, you'd meet ME! Isn't this already a good reason to come here?

••

As Chris Ryall has so perfectly summed it up, the restructuring will change the dynamic from me saying "Would you guys be interested in this?" to me saying "Here's what I'm doing next!" So you'll likely be seeing all kinds of stuff, kind of like an omnibus, but in serial format.

First up will be a brand new series I've been playing with in my head for a while, and, of course, this also means I can do more COLD WAR without having to fret the sales.
