JB, how do you know when to include a background and when to leave a panel open behind the characters? You do a great job at balancing that.

At the risk of being repetitive; loving today's page!
I know exactly what scene the third panel reminds me of, but the top two panels also have elements that seem familiar (stop the press - I've just worked out panel one as well!).
Panel 4 is so dynamic!! Very interested to see where this Phoenix thinks "home" is...

That six inches of snow we were supposed to get turned into nearly two feet. Talk about thread drift...
BTW - Great page! Can't wait to see where we go with this!

There aren't enough words to convey how pleased I am with these first two pages... and since I can't share my speculations... I won't comment on where this appears to be going... but I'm loving it so far...
I've really missed (before Elsewhen at least) seeing Jean in the original green Phoenix outfit (my favorite look for her small phoenix emblem and front seam and all per Cockrum). And with the more "open" hair: just wonderful!
Once again: thanks to John for all this freely shared fan-fic!

JB, you managed to make me feel bad for Pheonix, while still fearing what is next. Dang.

My internal guesswork finally seems to have gotten me another check in the "correct" column.
Unless (of course) I turn out to be wrong (again).
In any event, I'm diggin' where this is goin'!

I'll echo that I feel badly for what Phoenix must be feeling in that last panel. But it really makes me wonder what's going on here.
