At least four issues.-JB

-

I'm sure it is the same for most everyone around here, but getting to see any new art from John is such a joy, that the thought that there will be four more issue's of this great series to come through the pipeline is super exciting.

Thanks again for taking us all along on this journey with you John.

Edit to add context.

With the bizarre shifting sense of time that comes with getting older, I have to say that this is just beginning to feel like the experience I used to get during the wait between issues of JB's Fantastic Four.

This has been a period of hopeful anticipation.

Back then it was a WAIT.

Words of warning: I am not slipping back into the saddle as smoothly as I had expected. In fact, I feel another doldrums settling around me.

ELSEWHEN broke me out of the last one—but only after it had lasted two years.

I get it.

I haven’t touched a guitar since 2015.

Fingers crossed, you snap out of it JB. But if you don't, you don't. We have plenty to look back on and enjoy.

Sorry to hear about the doldrums, Mr. B - we all get them from time to time, for whatever period. You owe us nothing - everything you have given us to-date has been a delight and a bonus and has cost US nothing, so thank you for this experience we would otherwise not have had.

I suspect it will be 'the characters' who will eventually nag you enough to enable their stories to live anew. Until than - take care and THANK YOU.

You're not alone in that. This Spring has sucked the wind out of many sails (mine included) and I'm not sure why.

Whatever you do from here Mr. Byrne, you'll always be an inspiration to me. Your golden touch as a storyteller has been magical. It's been a gift you have, and a gift you gave.

Thank you!
