Andrew, per the Forum Decorum:

"Do Not pose 'multiple choice' questions, as 'Did you do such and such
because of blah, or because of blah blah?' A simple 'Why did you do such and
such' will suffice!"

Whenever these multiple choice questions come up, JB responds "yes" as a
gag for those of us who know this isn't the kind of question he wants to
answer. Since you did the same thing on your follow-up question, I thought I
would mention it.

This thread made me look back through my Alpha Flight collection.
1) Don't know if Mr. Byrne knows the answer, why did the logo (masthead?) for AF change? Did you have any input? 
2) I guess I'd say Issue 1 was my favorite. So much excitement for a long time Byrne/X-Men fan for Mr. Byrne to be back in that corner of Marvel Universe. 
3) I remember not being crazy about Mantlo's "additions" to Alpha Flight's back story (especially the Puck/Eugene revelations). But I kept buying it until about issue 40 and then bought some issues when Jim Lee showed up. 
4) I did meet Mr. Byrne not long after AF 1 hit the stands and did get it signed.

Another Alpha Question for JB: When you left the book, Shaman had just failed to save his daughter and Talisman was angry and had sent the team away. Any general idea on where you would've gone with those 2 characters had you stayed?

tech challenged. Sigh.)
