Wolverine's mask is like Batman's ears -- some artists put the back of the forms way too far forward, almost above the ears. (I know that would seem a logical placement for Batman, and it was when he had smaller ears on his cowl, but the longer they got, the further back I found they needed to be placed.

Great work JB.
The Proteus saga was such a great storyline. Of your run, it was my
third favorite tale, right below Days of Future Past (favorite) and
then the Dark Phoenix saga.
How much input did you have in the creation of that tale?
