Granted, JB may not have drawn Daredevil as much as some other Marvel characters, but this "missing" commission piece of DD is his best interpretation yet.

In my opinion.

Or Blackbolt buying a pretzel or a hotdog from a Manhatten vendor.

****

Hm -- would that be astonished onlookers surrounding the vendor as Black Bolt takes his order --- or something resembling Hiroshima at ground zero because BB slipped and said "One with everything."?

The work is fantastic. I seem to remember  that Hawkeye did have a crush on Wanda years ago. A little OT: When I was a kid, Avengers #189,  Hawkeye vs. Deathbird was one of my favorite comics!

Frank thought Elektra was dead, too.

**********

After Frank's Daredevil run, Elektra was still alive.  Did Frank intend for the Elektra Lives Again graphic novel to be part of official continuity?  I've read that it is not but I don't know whether Frank meant for it to be or not.

JB that's one of your best Wolverine splashes to date. I love Kate's expression.

I just received the DD piece. This one :

Thanks a whole lot JB (and Jim)

This is, of course, even better in person

I wanted to show you that the piece will be in good company on my wall but sadly most of the pics I have are too big according to this forum's rules and I can't resized them on this computer .o here is the only pic I can post : This piece was done by Klaus Janson. It is the cover of a french mag called SCARCE (this issue, obviously, was about Will Eisner) Hope you like it; It is right next to JB's DD

The other pieces on my wall (the only one I can put artwork on) are a DD pencil piece that JRjr did for the birth announcement of my seconder,  2 covers of the french mag by JRjr/K Janson and Mike Zeck + the birth announcement of my first daughter by Zeck/Janson

Edited : sorry, I don't know how to post pics other than via photobucket (and that doesn't seem to be possible here)

I'm trying with links so :

I love the Spider-Man piece too

Here is the pencil art John jr did. Even if I like it, there was a huge amount of work made by KJ. Talk about inker/artist (vs inker/tracer)

Wow.  The before and after are much more different than I expected.  Does Klaus always contribute that much?

Klaus can be faithfull to the pencil art when need be. Being an artist himself he can add "thAt much" when he's asked to (by the penciler or editor)

He talks about this subjects at lenghts in Back Issue 21 (the one, out mid march, where the beautiful JB' DD piece will appear)
