Incredible. I miss the entire casts of Danger Unlimited and Babe.

At the risk of losing my Byrne Fan Club membership card, I have to admit I don't remember Golgotha... but I can't forget him now!! Great commission!!

Golgotha was the Red Skull/Doctor Doom/Humongous

********************

He also is a bit like DC's atomic skull, either way he makes for a powerful image. A great name too, also the location for where christ was crucified. Some of those ancient biblical names would make for cool modern comic characters, Sargon,Gilgamesh

John, seriously, for the last time ... stop skimping on the details!  And draw a background for Christ's sake!!

Hmm... the Hulk, perhaps? ;)

I was talking with a buddy of mine who owns a comic shop and we were bouncing around a few names of people we'd like to see jump onto Ultimate Spidey as the artist. Though I'm not sure of how likely this would be, we both strongly agreed that it would be great to see you obn that book.

What next I wonder?

Something a little bit simpler.

Ah that would be my commission request, a recreation of the battle from the Snowblind issue of Alpha Flight that Johns going to do for me for free. ;-)

(I just supply the paper and white ink.)

I'm loving these Captain America commissions.  Cap is my favorite character, doubly so when drawn by JB.

Some ladies perhaps, we haven't seen too many of those requested in a commission.

Yes yes yes!  John, you did a fabulous job!!  I have a huge list of commission ideas, but I had to narrow it down to either my favorite character (after Guardian, which I've had done), Cap, or something from the Legends line, which I absolutely love.  After spending a LOT of time in the galleries, the Golgotha pin-up just jumped out at me and I knew I had a winner.  Talk about the best of both worlds.  Thank you John, I can hardly wait to get this in my hands then on my wall.

Now, about that Arwen vs. Ringwraith piece...

It does seem to be begging for a companion piece with Torch of Liberty leaping in from the left side of the page at the Red Skull, though...

Don't tempt me, Bill!  That's actually a pretty good idea, but I'm thinking more along the lines of OMAC and Hitler, like this original I have hanging up already.
