Um, no.  His opinion, valid or not, has no connection whatsoever with any artistic capability he may or may not be willing to demonstrate.  I could be completely tone deaf and hate the latest Britney Spears album.  Anyone asking me to sing in order to validate my hatred of the album is actively misunderstanding the nature of art and its audience.

"Let's see you do better!!" is the last refuge of the fan most afraid of learning that someone out there [gasp!] might not share his/her personal taste.  Sad, really.

"Um, no."

Again, not what I'm saying. I find it hard to visualize a "prettier" face than what JB depicted for the Black Widow, and am asking Fawstin to provide one himself, or even an example from elsewhere.

Hey Michael,

I dont have one lined out yet. But I have a million ideas. I am thinking of going for a larger one. But time will tell.

I always wondered what was keeping the Widow so young ... Fury had his Infinity formula (I think) but ... what did the Widow have ?? was it ever explained ??

Frank, your premise is based on the notion that this guy hates the picture, like you hate Brittany Spears. He never said he hated the picture, he said what he didn't like about it. I'm sure you could list a bunch or things you don't like about Spears' music and why it doesn't appeal to you. Key word, being why. If this guy had such an itch he had to scratch and he had to talk about how the face could have been prettier, don't you think he should have given something to back-up his claim. He doesn't have to show us his work personally to prove the point (I do agree with you there) but he should offer up some explaination as to how it could be done differently.

Missed this.  Very pretty.  Great use of black and white and the rendering of her hair is masterful.
