Chris and Dave had come up with the idea that Wolverine was actually one of the High Evolutionary's Ani-Men -- an artificially evolved wolverine. They planted a few clues -- including the conflicting Sentinel scans -- but before they could do the "reveal", Archie Goodwin unknowingly stepped on their toes by using the same idea for the origin of Spider-Woman. A later writer undid this, giving Jessica Drew a very mundane origin, but by then the damage was done, so Chris and Dave dumped their idea.

When I came on board, I suggested that Sabretooth be Wolverine's father, Sabretooth being the mutant and Logan, because the mutation bred true, actually being the first of a new species.

Scarlet Witch looks absolutely beautifull is this piece. You're giving George Perez a real run for his money in my placing of favorite Scarlet Witch artist. I'll need to see a few more examples (perferably sent to me for free) before I make my final decision.

I think that JB, George Perez, and Jack Kirby are the best artists for the Scarlet Witch.

It is all in the eyes.  I think the piece is totally MADE by the expression on Wanda's face.
