I like that Michael doesn't always have the exact
same headband or wristbands on. *** I don't remember ever noticing that. Speaking of which, who changed Shaman's costume to the black/white version? I remember liking it more than his original costume colors.

Neat.
Where does Shaman rank compared to mystics like Dr. Strange and Brother Voodoo?

Tough call, especially since he's dead now...
Or as dead as any comic character can get anyways.

One of my 3 favorite Alpha Flight members. With Mac and Heather.
Number 4 would be Aurora.

Now, I just left a comment in the Nightcrawler piece to say it was probably my favourite single figure piece of JB's to date...and then I opened this thread.
John the inking on this one is wonderful.
Awe-inspiring.

Wallace asked:
Where does Shaman rank compared to mystics like Dr. Strange and Brother Voodoo?
I think JB has stated that Shaman can affect things in a
physical way that Dr. Strange cannot. From my reading, and I'm no
expert, they seem to be peers in many ways.
Brother Voodoo was originally portrayed as having a very limited bag of
tricks. He controls the loa of his dead brother and can use it to
possess others (or spy). It's like having the ability to astral travel
and remain in your own body. He can also control flame (although he
cannot create it) and he's immune to fire and/or explosions. Finally, I
think he can teleport in a fashion similar to the Golden Age Vision by
traveling in smoke.
Not nearly as versatile as the others but I like his limited bag of
tricks. Given a different costume, I think he could work as a modern
character. I just don't think the barefoot look would work today
