JB,
When you are recreating... do you follow the same strokes as you had done oh-so-many years ago?

This was the first X-Men issue I bought - I got it after reading my brother's collection, which was a mixed bag of Cockrum and JB. I didn't have any of the Dark Phoenix arc - my brother's issues ended right before it. I loved it so much I asked the 7 Eleven clerk when the next issue would be out. Good thing he told me as the folloiwing issue didn't stay on the stands for too long!

This remains one of the most memorable comic scenes I have ever seen.

JB:And that's the technicality, JP. Which is why I will be including the logo on all cover recreations from now on.
Still a great piece none the less. Notice that the abs are different too!

This has always remained my favorite JB X-MEN cover. Very powerful and
emotional, i'd love to see a re-imagining of this image, JB.

Another great recreation! Now I understand why you had this cover on your mind when you reimaged it in the other thread.
