The "Disco" Dazzler... rather a nadir in the Claremont/Byrne run, and it's really nice to see JB confirm he wasn't behind it!

John Romita Jr. drew the cover to Uncanny X-Men 130.  Was he responsible for festooning it with lightbulbs?  Was he the one who designed Dazzler's "costume"? 

Or did John Byrne design Dazzler's look?

I would actually be interested in seeing what recreation JB could do for this cover and instead of making Dazzler "disco" make her a hot "punk" from around the same time period (ala Debbie Harry from Blondie).

It was Shooter's idea to festoon the logo with lightbulbs, as I recall. Might have been someone lower on the pecking order. Dazzler's outfit was the product of several cooks, but I believe JRjr did contribute. I had nothing to do with it.
