This is Wolverine.  'Love the expression...that barely contained, hungry kind of eager smirk is just perfect.

One of the many ways in which Mr. Logan has gone off track.

So, like, Wolverine has these berserker rages, right? And he looks so
cool when he's all, like, animalistic and feral, right? So how extra
cool
would it be if he looked like that, like, all the time, right?

You never fail to show just how threatening and ferocious Logan can be, JB.  Even just standing there, he's not someone I'd want to screw with.  Love the thread title, too, one of your best.  Thanks for sharing.

Looks like this commission could be used for a cover logo. Great stance and look on Wolverine.

That's why he was my favorite X-Man, and why JB is my favorite artist.

JB, I realize I'm just saying the same thing Aaron said in the first post-pic post, but it really is astounding how you manage to get the height across without any other frame of reference in the picture.

I don't comment on a lot of the commission threads - I like them all, and have used a few as backgrounds on my PC - but when you manage to do something really cool like have She-Hulk look like She-Hulk without the benefit of colour, or have Wolverine here look short and stocky without anything else in the shot, it really warrants a post just to say how much fun it is to see the obvious love you have for these characters when you get a chance to draw them as they should be drawn.

I wish the current people working on these folks had that same love, because I miss reading stories about them.
