George Perez's reign as "King of Rubble" is under threat now!
••
I was not aware of George having been placed upon that throne!

"As introduced, he was a decidedly un-scary bald and mustachioed businessman -- American, no less!"
****
Anyone have a scan of that?

WOW. This one could be one of your absolute very best commissions. The Skull's face gives me the creeps, but the black Nazi uniform is chilling (I'm used to seeing him more in his olive jumpsuit).
Hope he looks like this in the upcoming CAPTAIN AMERICA movie (although I doubt they'll be tackling the concept of the Cosmic Cube).

Well, after a while words fail. The image speaks for its self. Amazing piece.

I'm so happy for Clint and his wife!! Happy for us forum members. Seems like ages since we saw a commission. John must be swamped with "real" work

Awesome! That piece just screams "pure evil" --- which is perfectly appropriate given the subject matter.

To me, every piece is by a new artist named John Byrne.

Very nice. I'm just glad that its not the cube that hatched the Shaper of Worlds. If that bit of lore is still in place, that is(on the other hand, is a Skrull a big step up?). If it were, would he have a skull-head or regular human features? Am I fixating on the wrong part of the commission? Sorry. Great job, JB!

Great work.
