Love the piece, John!  Congrats to the commissioner. 

(This will sound weird, but I don't believe I've ever actually seen the cover of 113.  I've read it (in reprint), but the image is not ringing any bells for me.)

...I'm also suddenly inspired to consider a similar scene, but the FF vs. Magneto.  Has this been done before?

My first reaction was "Oh Hell Yeah!"

Then I looked closer and thought Wolverine was a Simpson; I couldn't locate all four fingers. But after studying the page exhaustively, its okay. I found his index finger.

So we're back to "Oh Hell Yeah!"

Very nice; I like it a lot.

That's one of my favorite X-Men commissions. Wow. Love Magneto's cape and Banshee's glider-wing things. Especially how the stripes flow on the left one.

And as usual, your Nightcrawler and Colossus are unmatched.
