Awesome!  Like many other members of the forum, I grew up with the "All-New" team.  The original group has grown to be my favorite of the various X-Men teams.  And I love these uniforms, especially moreso because of the solid black.  Excellent work and an excellent choice for a commission.

For me this looks best because of the simple design and they all look human more or less. Which makes you think they are us. You never know is your next door neighbor one. Later when the mutants became more elaborate in design and the costumes more flamboyant. They stopped being us and became Them. Atleast  to me thats how it was.

I agree, Anthony. More and more it seems as though mutants have to
look like monsters.

You're not alone, Anthony. Clearly I enjoyed the "new" X-Men, but with additions like Storm, Wolverine, Nightcrawler.... These folk would not blend into a crowd!

I grew up with John Byrne's All-New X-Men, but this era of the team seems to have a sweet spot for me too.

I have a thought on why that is,
I think it's because that all of us who loved the New team-characters have now witnessed SO MUCH crap piled onto them that they're kinda ruined now.

The original team by comparison is almost unsullied, and can retain happy nostalgia rather that bitter post-ORIGIN apathy.

That's just fantastic. I really like how Magneto's got metal stuff just snaking all around.

I love the blacks in their costumes!  And I've always had a soft spot for snowy Iceman.

Lars just put down a lot of my own sentiments. I too grew up on the All-New X-Men but have learned to love this original team as well.

And also, as stated, excellent work, JB.

Terrific!  I just love the original group and the original costumes.

I liked it so much better when finding a new mutant was an event - and there wasn't a countless number of them in the Marvel Universe.
