Awesome cover, JB!  Congratulations, William.

Sunfire is a character i would have liked to have seen more of growing up as a kid.  I thought he had a pretty cool costume.

I love these cover re-imagining, they're always fun! Great layout and like it better than the original. It was neat how it looks like JB, but also Dave Cockrum in there too. Wonderful commission. Miss those "old" Marvel days.

Fun commission! I love those giant armored suits .

I also get a fan-tickle from the Byrne Cockrum heads in the corner box. I
know that changing them to "Byrne heads" a couple issues later was a
marker for you. Seeing them here feels almost full-circle.

Interesting to see how John re-arranges things in his "re-imagined" cover.  I forgot how the ol' Canucklehead was missing in Cockrum & Austin's original.  (Yes, I called Wolverine "Old Canucklehead".)

This is one of the very first comics that I bought with my own money when I was a kid…

I have been looking at this commission for a couple of hours now, and I am amazed at how much action/motion/power can be put on to one page. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the original but, this commission shows how a cover should be done. Once again JB, THANK YOU!

Yeah, I wish I had my waist from my youth for sure! I like your word play on that.

Kidding aside, I really do like these cover re-imaginings, it's fun to see something familiar done in a different light.
