What I've seen of his work over the years, I've always liked, and always intended to seek out more of it. RIP

I'd love some recommendations for comics by Moebius to pick up. What's the best of the best*? I think the only thing I have by him is the Silver Surfer book.
*in English please...

I'd love some recommendations for comics by Moebius to pick up. What's the best of the best*?•• I'd highly recommend THE AIRTIGHT GARAGE OF JERRY CORNELIUS -- tho don't expect to understand it, whatever language you find it in! There's quite a bit of his work at Amazon, under Jearn Giraud Moebius. Basically, if you forgive the "European sensibilities" of the stories, it's hard to go wrong as far as the art.

A great talent. Interesting as his SF work was to me, what I really loved was his Western stuff. Regret I've never acquired one of his original Blueberry pages, or even a sketch. Joe, I'd recommend you try his Lt. Blueberry stuff. Marvel reprinted a number of his stories in handsome paperback volumes a number of years back. They're long out of print, but shouldn't be too hard to find. Actually, the style and feel of the sf and Western stuff is so different (though both brilliant) that you could easily like one but not the other, so at least sample one of each.
