JB, the thing that consistently sets your commissions apart from so many others is the "story" that is plainly evident from the image on the paper. A stunning commission!!

I can really see the determination / resolve in her eyes.  And trying not to put this too crassly, I always felt one of Wanda's hidden hex powers was her ability to levitate convincingly without the benefit of straps.

I totally agree.  I have gotten in the habit of looking at the image before reading the commission request.  And often the story is quite evident from the image.

A pose most, including the pros couldn't pull off nearly as successfully.

Thanks! My main concern was that it not be too evocative of THIS!

My wife, ardent feminist that she is, would love this image of a powerful woman defending her powerful-but-beaten husband ... if she had any idea who the characters were ...

So I'll just have to love it for both of us.

Oh, and I don't think it's too reminiscent of the Batman/Wolverine piece.  The poses are different, for one, and we, as viewers who know these characters infer very different backstories.  Whatever it was that brought Batman and Wolverine together, we assume their partnership was bumpy, culminating in respect, but perhaps a grudging one.  Batman's attitude is something like "Well, I know he'll heal, but I have work to do."  Scarlet Witch, on the other hand, just saw someone trash the man she loves and she's about to unleash some serious hexing.  It's time for some Avenging, and this time it's personal.

Nice! I like the fact that they're holding hands.
