Wonderful!

I especially like Beast, Thor and Cap.  And Jarvis in the window.  And Ms. Marvel.  And Iron Man.  And...

Nathan, thanks for posting that image. It just makes me want to see more of JB's take on my favorite version of Captain Marvel!

Groovy piece JB. I love the metallic shine you gave to Iron Man and I could almost feel the wind whipping off of the spin of Mjolnir.

Ms. Marvel earning a slot in the character count is pretty cool, but like JB, I don't really care much for the character. I just had to make her part of my prior commission because of the theme that called for her since it was a re-imagination of a cover she originally appeared in.

As usual, it is a great commission and the person ordering that will surely be quite happy about it.

Wow!!!  Very cool!

JB's version of Beast is my favorite.  He's the character that ties together JB's work on UNCANNY X-MEN with AVENGERS.

The way you've got Thor's cape blowing from the whirling of Mjolnir is just one of those little details that puts your work a notch above most of the rest JB.

This piece is amazing.

That's a good point, I agree.

"By the time I came into comics professionally, he'd gone from the short white hair he had when I was "introduced" to him in the Kree/Skrull war, to the mop of long blond hair. I do not care for the latter look, and have avoided drawing it."

Thanks for this.  I have ALWAYS preferred Mar-Vel with white hair and the mask that covers the back of his head.  For some reason its just plain cooler looking.

I'll have to dig out the book(I don't use my home PC for these postings or any others; it's not currently online... which explains some of my hasty, "foot in mouth" postings), but I seem to recall Mar-vell being in the background in one of the early Gyrich issues: "There are just too many of you... the National Security Council can't keep track of who's coming and going!"

The cover was by either JB or George Perez, and I think Terry Austin inked it.

I was going to mention how much I liked the touch of good old Jarvis looking out the window, but everyone beat me to it!
