Well, in the wild world of commissioning, you can team-up whoever your wallet lets you ;-)

Yeah, my approach in the whole Setting the Standard in Comics thing is partly "there but for the grace of god goes Superman, Batman, and Captain America". Lots of these characters didn't survive because they were lame, but others were pretty cool and its too bad they disappeared and aren't on kids backpacks today.

Caniff's figures in action were nothing like Robbins

I don't recall Caniff ever doing superheroes, though.

Still one of my favorites of 2013. The robot is simply fantastic. I do enjoy when someone commissions characters that typically wouldn't be seen.
