Isn't "chicks" an outdated term that is kind of derogatory to some?

They're referring to themselves, which does seem to get a pass. Similar to me being allowed to use the "f" word, while straight people have to be more careful.

Is the story true that George Washington's dentures were not actually made of wood as history books led us to believe but were in fact made from the teeth of slaves?
Thomas Jefferson also owned slaves.
If so, when is Mt. Rushmore coming down?

Does “The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations” get a lot of usage outside of official documents? It doesn’t seem to appear on license plates or drivers’ licenses.

Since Columbus has been trashed here, I might as well post this defense of him, including the Calvinist Puritan roots of the anti-occidental prejudice against him.

I lived in Columbus for many years, and quite frankly I, an Asian, was not really welcome there. But changing a city's name, or shamefully hiding a statue of it's namesake, is not going to change attitudes. If anything it deepens resentment and hate.
And maybe that's what BLM and Antifa want?

I think that's a ridiculous statement based on what it
actually is that they are protesting against.
What would you do Joe? What would you do to even the
board a little, to stop people living in fear? To stop
people thinking it's OK to dress in white and treat
people like crap purely due to the colour of their skin?
How would you improve the education standards for non-
whites? How would you address beliefs that people are
sub-human because they are not white?
How would you address any of this?

Is Chess racist? Some people think so.
As well, I saw this quote in an article about an Albertan speechwriter for the current premier. The NDP is a left-wing party in Canada.
"On Thursday, NDP leader and former premier Rachel Notley gave a press conference before Question Period, calling Bunner’s statements “hateful” and described them as “illegal ideas.” She demanded Kenney fire him and apologize."
The sad thing is that I have not seen any outcries about that comment.
