Kitty messed up Modok pretty bad with a lot less experience – I'm rooting for her to at least give it the ol' School For Gifted Youngsters Try.

Loved today's page. Kitty chasing Magneto underground and finding a "what-the-heck" moment. A smile for the day. Thanks again for sharing.

Good point about Cyclops!
Now, whether or not that Mole Man tunnels / Pixie subplot wound up working out... those are some god-dang gorgeous panels. I love that in a single page we travel from fairly realistic sci-fi tunnels to perfect vintage Kirby architecture, and it's all clearly in the same world.
It's like traveling back in time from the 80s to the 60s of the Marvel Universe.

Can someone point to the Elsewhen issue where we saw Kitty finding the mysterious tunnels before?

I wonder how Magneto will fare against Doctor Doom when he isn't on the verge of winking out of existence.

I love mysterious tunnels and underground complexes. The Mole Man is just plain cool. It seems incredible the X-man have never tangle with him (?) since I could see the whole mutant-outcast theme forging an easy bond.
Even if it never resolves, it's a joy to have seen that sequence of images. Thanks. You are a generous man.
At this point in time Marvel has so completely lost the path, that this continues to be my one and only source for legitimate stories with these characters from the 70's. The official products are just a weird pastiche written by imposters.

The FF get to tussle with Magneto and presumably the X-Men get a round against the Mole Man. Love both teams trading issue #1 villains or at least the potential for it. I would be pulling for a huge team up battle with the FF and X-Men fighting the Mole Man while Magneto and Dr. Doom tear each other apart.

Notionally, the idea of Sprite meeting Pixie in Mole Man's tunnels seems perfectly acceptable in 'Marvel terms'. Not asking you to elaborate the whys or wherefores however. You, are the one who determines what 'works' in your narrative, or not, after all.
I just loved 'Lost Generation' and it would have been a delight for those characters to be integrated wholesale into the MCU for additional appearances (occasional or regular; contemporary or retro-fitted).
