All this discussion of colors...Is it true that John is color blind? I seem to recall seeing that somewhere

Yes, I am colorblind, but not nearly so severely as fandom seems to think. When people hear "colorblind" they tend to take it a little too literally. Most of us so afflicted only have trouble with a narrow range of colors -- in my case, tending to reverse certain middle shades of green and brown.Roger Stern loves to regale folk with the fact that I drew about a year of IRON FIST thinking the lead character's costume was brown.

So you were able to pick up the screw up in JLA with the wrong color blood then?

Something that has been largely forgotten about
Wanda is that she is a very shy and demure lady. Prim and proper, even.
When Kirby designed her original look, her covered her from head to toe
(remember the old "shopping bag" headdress?), and then wrapped a
voluminous cape around her. This is something I keep in mind when drawing her. Wanda is a gal who has most definitely got it, but she doesn't like to flaunt it. =======================
It's funny, but I would have thought the opposite. All of Kirby's other female costume designs were pretty much bodysuits - Invisible Woman, Wasp, Jean Grey. Scarlet Witch's always kind of stood out to me as being a red one-piece bathing suit over pink, flesh-suggesting tights. It certainly doesn't show any more skin, but it seems more provocative (relatively speaking) than most of the female costumes of the day.

Awesome, each and every one. Interestingly, I was wondering just yesterday how JB-rendered Daredevil would look these days.

Hawkeye's face seems to look a bit younger than I'm used to, but Wanda looks perfect - one of the best I've seen you draw of her.

Those are all beautiful...but the Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye one is super.
It is also mine, (I'm assuming, unless someone else asked for a Hawkeye/Scarlet Witch piece). And when I made the request I can assure everyone that "Avengers Diassembled" was the furthest thing from my mind.
Indeed, this piece turned out far more poignant than I envisioned. Great job, JB. I cant wait for this one and the Storm drawing to arrive.

Laren,
If you don't mind answering, what actually did you put in your request?

I'll answer...but first I want to see what others think the scene is conveying.

Love that Wolverine, not so much love for the Daredevil, but that's just me. It's stylistically very well done..the character and his look just doesn't do it for me. Hawkeye looks awesome though.
