Byrne: Excluding OHOTMU covers, I can't think of an instance where Mar-Vell has turned up in a book I've drawn.

Only one I can think of...

I have fond memories of Avengers 181 through 191. Great to see the old team back together again. And nice to see Jarvis making a cameo! Incredible commission!

After seeing the large scan, the standout figure for me is Iron Man! The Mansion itself is a spectacular background and I enjoy the little addition of Jarvis in the scenery. Very nice.

Yes, brilliant job, it captures the excitement we fans should get from these characters.

"Appreciated, tho I do tend to think that Perez guy pretty much owns this version of Mr. McCoy."

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree, then. I agree with the comment that you draw the best furry Beast. I would put Perez as a very close second, though.

By the time I came into comics professionally, he'd gone from the short white hair he had when I was "introduced" to him in the Kree/Skrull war, to the mop of long blond hair. I do not care for the latter look, and have avoided drawing it. |

Mar-Vell really popped out at me in this commission. My first thought was "Adamsy, Cool!"

That montage panel from The Incredible Hulk that Nathan posted is a real beauty.
Looking at this commission in the gallery, I like how you've depicted the lower rings on Thor's tunic -- the way that one has wrinkles in it so that you see it is part of the material and not an iron disc.

Very sweet! I do love The Avengers. When I first saw the title had Avengers in it I thought it was mine. Congrats to the lucky owner of this piece though!
